LUCA RICCI UN’ARTISTA ITALIANO E NON SOLO
Luca Ricci nasce a Firenze nel 1964 e vive in Umbria (Rapicciano). L’adolescenza si sviluppa a contatto con un mondo artistico collegato alla sua famiglia che lo sensibilizza precocemente a tutto ciò che è arte. La sua carriera artistica inizia molto presto.
A tredici anni vince il primo concorso di pittura( ne vincerà altri due nei dieci anni successivi –Artistopoli 1 e 2 . Per dieci anni fa convivere l’attività artistica con quella di esperto in web-marketing settore finanziario, ma nel 1998 decide che l’Arte sarà il principale interesse della sua vita. Ha abbinato per un decennio alla manualità artistica quella destinata al benessere dell’uomo (Shiatsu – Musicoterapia), ha realizzato un progetto di mecenatismo povero( destinato agli artisti di tutto il mondo) a Spoleto, fondando il micromuseo, sta costruendo un parco delle sculture a Rapicciano ed il suo ultimo progetto in fieri è rivolto ad un rinascimento culturale della società italiana, ripercorrendo la strada tracciata negli anni 70 da Don Lorenzo Milani., per fondare una scuola popolare di istruzione che si rivolga alle nuove generazioni per creare uno stato di valore.Si occupa anche di giornalismo e marketing nel web.
Ha lasciato segni del suo passaggio artistico oltre che in Italia, in Germania( istallazione pro Tibet ad Alexander Platz a Berlino 2008),

presente a tutte le edizioni del Festival dei due Mondi di Spoleto dal 1998 ad oggi . Si esprime tramite interventi pittorici sulla materia da lui modellata, ricalcando con il colore ricordi ancestrali dell’uomo oggetto/soggetto osservato e osservatore. Il cromatismo non è solo un esercizio di stile ma è espressione del dolore e del disagio di questa umanità alla quale spesso ci si vergogna di appartenere. Le ultime opere si ispirano, a testimonianza di ciò:al disastro ecologico causato dalla petroliera Prestige in Galizia,e al conflitto bellico in atto ( Irak), (Tibet-Cina istallazione a Berlino ).

Ha partecipato alla biennale di architettura a Venezia presentando fuori concorso un progetto sulle Twin Towers (2002)
Nel 2009 partecipa con successo a due iniziative di Action Painting al Festival Internazionale del Contrabbasso a Perugia insieme a Daniele Roccato ( al Contrabbasso ) , e in occasione del Festival 52 dei due Mondi a Spoleto presso Rosso Bastardo.Inizia sempre in occasione del Festival a Spoleto la felice idea di 8×8 = 64 IN PARVA VERITAS
Che lo ha portato nei mesi successivi a fare micromostre ( i quadri sono 8×8 cm), in varie città europee.

Luca Ricci was born in Florence in 1964 and He lives in Umbria (Rapicciano). His adolescence developes with the world of the art connected to his family who make him sensitive precociously to whatever is art. His artistic carreer begins very early.
At 13 He wins his first painting contest (he will win two in the following ten years – Artistopoli 1 and 2. For ten years He is at the same time artist and web financial marketing expert, but in 1998 he decides that art will be the main interest of his life. He combined for a decade to his manual skill for art the one destinated to physical well-being, Shiatsu and Musicotherapy, he realized a project of poor patronage, destinated to the artists from all over the world, in Spoleto, founding the micromuseo, he is building a sculpture park in Rapicciano and his last project in progress is the cultural renaissance of the italian society, going over the route traced by Don Lorenzo Milani, in order to found a popolar school of education for the new generation to estabilish a State of Value. He works also as journalist and web marketing.
Apart Italy, He left signs of his artistic trace also in Germany (pro Tibet installation in Alexander Platz in Berlin 2008) Luxemburg (big painting work of the Christ in Notre Dame in Luxemburg) Holland (painting installation in the Cathedral of Utrecht, Lorenzkierche in Rotterdam and Boymans Museum of Rotterdam for the closure of the exhibition dedicated to Keith Formentera) France (Paris exhibition and installation with Caio Mario Garrubba in the parisian underground 2009), and he was in the exhibitions of the Festival of the Two Worlds of Spoleto every year from 1998 up to the 2009.He expresses through painting intervetions on the material moulded by himself, tracing by the colours the ancestral memory of man object/subject observing and observed. The colouring is not only a practice of style but an expression of the pain and the uneasiness of our Mankind to which sometimes we are shy to belong to. His last works are inspired, to testify this, to the eco-disaster provoked by the Oil-tanker Prestige in Galicia, the present war conflicts in Irak, Tibet-China with the installation in Berlin.
He took part to the Biennale of Architecture in Venice showing as unclassified competitor a project on the Twin Towers (2002).
In 2009 he successfully takes part to 2 initiative of Action Painting at the International Festival of Contrabass in Perugia with Daniele Roccato (contrabass player) during the Festival 52 of the Two Worlds in Spoleto in Rosso Bastardo.
He begins, always during the Festival in Spoleto, the successful idea of 8×8= In Parva Veritas, which took him in the following mounths to show many micro-exhibitions (paintings 8×8) in several european towns, as wellas in several prestigious places.
